You can totally rock it by itself —would recommend two Coats. Or you can layer it over your fave nail polish colour as the ultimate combo. To do this: 

Base coat > 1 coat of your chosen shade > a light swipe of The Glamour (aka this silver polish) > top coat to seal the deal.
